Our District Deputy Grand Master, was born on July 27,1956, in Toronto.
After his family moved to Muskoka he graduated from Huntsville High School.

He started an electrical apprenticeship with The Ministry of Transportation in Huntsville traveling throughout northern Ontario. After obtaining his maintenance and construction certification, he traveled to Banff, Alberta, to work as an electrician at Sunshine Village Ski resort. In 1982 he took a position at Pickering Generating station with Ontario Hydro as a Control Technician. In 1990 he transferred to Minden, as a Customer Service Representative. After three years, he transferred to Bracebridge, where he is presently, a Distribution Engineering Technician for Hydro One.

He met his wife Marta in Bracebridge and were married in 1986. They have a daughter Kathleen born in 1987, and a son Benjamin born in 1989.

While in Minden he joined Arcadia Lodge #440, and was raised to the sublime degree of a master mason in 1991. After affiliating with Muskoka lodge he served as Master in 2001.

He is a member of the Barrie Valley of Scottish Rite, and is currently going through the chairs of The Lodge of Perfection. He is also co-director of the 8th degree and a member of the 32nd degree.

Steve is a member of the Muskoka Shrine club. An active member of Bracebridge United church and a Stewardship Committee member.
